We were left hanging by another moving company and Abe moving saved the day! They took their time loading our furniture into a single load so we didn’t have to make multiple trips. It was a tight fit but they managed to get it all done! We had a lot of heavy furniture and they were able to bring it up to the second floor of our home with some very creative solutions!

A fast, efficient move. All our questions were patiently answered and the crew showed right on time. They were very aware we were on the clock and worked to our benefit keeping a good pace all day. Our belongings were treated with great respect and the team lead communicated well through the entire move process. It made a stressful day very manageable despite some unforeseen setbacks.

A Blessing for Single Professionals

This is the second time in a year that I took moving assistance from Abe Moving and want to highlight a few additional points compared to last time.

First, the two movers, Talat and Ibrahim, were as courteous and professional as those who came the last time, Brad and Mohammad. This became important especially as the "from" building did not have an elevator and there were two narrow pairs of stairs to be navigated. I want to appreciate their efforts as they took care of my belongings.

Second, the supervisor, Zvonomir, always kept himself available, irrespective of whether it was a usual working hour or later; or even if it was a weekday or later. Not enough appreciation is given for the fact that not all movers keep themselves available during the weekends. The fact that Abe Moving works over the weekend, but also that they do small moves comes as a godsend for single professionals such as me.

Third, and most important of the three points I wish to highlight, I booked Abe Moving at a very short notice this time. Despite that, they were prompt and punctual in providing their best services. This shows that they care for their customers, irrespective of whether we want their assistance in small moves or big moves.

Abe Moving helped me move 8-9 carton boxes, some heavy items such as two tables and a queen-sized mattress and bedframe, and much of the smaller stuff. More importantly, they helped me assuage the anxiety associated with moving when one does not have the luxury of having a driving family member beside them.

I wish everyone at Abe Moving all the very best and hope their business grows and expands further.

An Appreciation Post

There are two themes I want to write about as I appreciate Abe Moving and their assistance given to me. First, I want to thank Zvonomir for his professionalism for the past one month in answering my requests. Second I want to thank the movers who arrived today, Brad and Mohammad.

Speaking of Zvonomir, the boss, I have been in constant communication with him and have been thrilled to be able to interact with him regularly and avail his services. Right from my first call, he made me feel extremely comfortable and explained the company rates and processes in a calm manner. It came as a reassurance that his company has received a positive rating from Better Business Bureau. Considering that I had to plan for the move all my myself, Zvonomir's composed demeanour calmed my anxious self. There were other companies that either did not work on a weekend or charged a high price to work but Abe Moving did not do either of this, something I wish to highlight here.

Speaking of Brad and Mohammad, they came on Saturday morning as promised and completed my work with thorough care and professionalism. Moving heavy items is a skill that we all need but don't always value. I want to take this opportunity to give kudos to both the movers and tell them that their skills are important and highly valued by residents, and will continued to be valued, regardless of the market situation.

There was a last-minute request from me to junk some of my furniture items -- this is something I decided on only at the last moment. The movers went above and beyond to help me and I am thankful to them for this.

Net-net, I wish Abe Moving all the success as they navigate an uncertain economic environment. Given an opportunity, I will certain take assistance from them again and highly recommend their services.

The movers were very proficient and organized, calm and friendly. We were provided with specialized boxes for our paintings and large breakables in advance, which was very helpful. The owner of the company came to our house to assess what we had and how many trucks and people would be required and kept in touch throughout the process. Moving is never fun, but Abe Moving made it much less stressful.
